Arbors & Pergolas

Arbors and pergolas both offer what a Cypress family must seek each Summer: comfort and shade. These structures increase the possibilities of your patio, by providing a structure to utilize for lighting, mounting, and more.

Arbors

Arbors provide partial shelter from the elements by simulating the effects of intertwined tree limbs. They are often slatted to let in sunlight and are often chosen near gate and entryways. Arbor owners sometimes choose to let vegetation such as vines grow up and along the structure's slats, adding to the garden's atmosphere.

Pergolas

Pergolas are shaded structures, usually attached or adjoined to the home. Their advantages include full coverage with shade and protection from natural elements like rain, allowing the owner to enjoy their patio despite a drizzle or rain. For a complete atmosphere, it is common to mount ceiling fans in pergolas as well as televisions on the side-posts.
